Electric Waffle irons are an antique mall staple. They tend not to be all that old but this one is from the 1920s.
Club was like Tupperware back in the 1920s. People would have parties like Tupperware parties were these would be sold. Better still this is an Al Berstead product best known for dime store fans. Like many Bersted products it was not labeled as Bersted. These were made in the Chicago area. This one seems to be fairly high quality, generally Bersted products tended to be on the cheap side. Although I have many of his fans from the 40s and 50s that work quite well.
Yes it is a waffle iron even though the label says "mould", a nice pretentious touch.
It's really very pretty in a domestic industrial way.
