Well, it could be very difficult to determine the value until it's known what the characters mean on the bottom and whether it is an original or a copy. Chinese porcelain can be very tricky! This vase looks similar to Satsuma ware. Hand painted, transfer print or a combination?
I meant to write " Japanese", not Chinese.....

Efesgirl, thanks for your comments and feedback. I have two identical vases one is smaller and belongs to my grandmother and the other I bought online recently. I love the design and had to get one. If it's not worth a fortune I'll still be happy with my Japanese vase just curious :)
My grandmothers vase has red writing on its.
I've added my grandmothers vase pictures just wanted to see if it is worth more.
@Cleo87 - it usually takes an expert in Japanese porcelain to determine if it's genuine and what the value would be. JMHO
