I have had this set for years now and know nothing about its origin or vealue. so I am looking for some help maybe here and see what others can tell me about it if anyone even knows. The pieces have a nice weight to them but I dont know what the material is made of. The metal is to hard to be pewter in my opinion.

Knight is the color of the white pieces. Would be hard to really tell what metal it is unless you cleaned the patina off. And dont wanna do that in fear of ruining pieces in process.

How about just to the base on a small section that's about the only way I can think of finding out unless you pay someone to do it for you who knows something about different metals
