Does anyone know the history of this piece or ones that are similar? It has been in the family a long time. It is made to wear with the horizontal pin in the back or as a necklace. I like it b/c it belonged to my mother who was born in 1909. Thanks.

You don't say what material it is made of: if it's cold and heavy like a stone (it looks like stone in the photos), than it could be jade, nephrite, or another similar stone. The floral carving is likely Chinese but the setting is Western in style. Can't venture a guess on age without seeing the back and the closeup of the setting. Hope that was helpful.

Thanks, davyd286, it is helpful. It seems to be jade. I'll add a few more photos. If they
aren't clear enough, I'll have granddaughter to take some.
