This is the original mugshot photograph from one of the most talked about murder cases in the 1920s. This mugshot is of William Edward Hickman "The Fox" as he called himself. He kidnaped and murdered a young girl Marion Parker in Los Angeles. The details are gruesome so I don't want to discuss them all here but it's an interesting read about a ransom gone wrong. This piece was found with a larger group of Police Memorabilia from an Officer that served in the early 20th century in the LAPD.

He unfortunately was part inspiration for a great book. I also think he was one of the first people to plead insanity as a defense in court of law.
Did he win on insanity ?

Thanks just wonder who is sane that kills people ? We had a horrific person here I knew a victims mother of Jeffrey Dahmer I think he was the most wicked person ever I still get nightmares from what he did and rumor is that the guards in prison let a inmate take him out and turned their backs . My friend never recovered after what he did to her son .
Mani, I think Ayn Rand was a woman, but not positive. Luckily, that one never came thru our area. My Jamaican Boys knew how to take care of such!
Ah yes Jamaica bb2 my sister just got back from there " No Problem man " You never heard of Dahmer !!!!! They made Movies and books on him but no families were compensated for the money made .
Mani, are you serious, none of the families were compensated??? That's awful! Dahmer was one sick puppy!!! I heard the same and believe it to be true that he wasn't the one that 'hung' himself.

Shareurpassion my friend was not given any money I know that and she was a high ranking military woman who was never the same and of coarse could no longer work , Very sad . He was pure EVIL !!!

So sorry to hear about your friend Mani. That's like slapping her upside her head after having to go thru the loss of her son. Very sad.
