The small one was a flea market find, and the larger one was bought in a second hand store. The basket also came from a flea market, bought in 2014. Total: $5.50.

You sure did a good deal! I could use your help with auction bids.

Hi blunderbuss2 - What sort of help? The majority of people who sell at flea markets or give things to second hand shops have no idea what their items are really worth. That's a good thing for me! On 28 June, I bought three damaged 14K gold rings for $1.00 at a flea market. This past Saturday, I turned that $1.00 into $64.00 with the scrap weight. Last year, I got 18K gold creole earrings for 25 cents ("brass") !!! The scrap value is more than $150.00 and the retail value is more than $450.00. Keeping those......

Was really more joking as I only play a couple of auction sites, which you couldn't help on.
