So I just came across this phone from a client that had sold their house and were getting rid of it. Now I've done little research on it, very little, but know its an early kellogg and the mic seems to have been replaced. other than that I don't know anything about it or phones in general. I couldn't find anything that said Kellogg on it but the speaker. Also nothing about model or date of manufacturing. Do they even put that on their products? I really don't know what I have here. I did think it was neat that it has been transformed into a rotary phone. If anyone could tell me more about it that would be awesome. also if it is safe to connect in a home.. Thanks!

The Mic is a Western Electric mic. Also below the shelf part it has 2807HS stamped into the wood

Do some research, eBay is crammed with these. Lots of them offered in original condition (no dial) but none with offers. Maybe just a keeper to display. Also research Kellogg's & S. Co.

These old phones also worked on 28 volts so can be employed with modern ph systems. I rigged mine up so that the old bells rang on my land-line for yrs.. Bit of nostalgia for awhile but we don't really use land-lines anymore & bulky to carry attached to a cell phone. LOL! You adjust the ring by rotating the bells after slightly loosening the brass knurled nuts on them. Need parts? Google "House of Telephones". Bon chance! Beautiful phone.

Pretty sure that dial doesn't go with the phone. And it looks like they added a 2nd ringer. Look up Kellogg wood phone or wall phone. The additions will probably knock the value a bit.
