This metal ruler was found in my fathers tool box. I am a 83 year old female and can remember my father using it when I was a young child. I am going to pass it on to my son who is 53 years old. I was born in 1932 so this ruler must be very old. Aileen Cox, Easley South Carolina

My father always took good care of his tools and I wanted to play with this ruler but he would not allow me to because he thought I might break it. It was such a thrill to find it today when going thru some old items that he had left. Is this still being made? I know my son will be proud to receive it when I give it to him today.

I have the #1206 - also passed down through two generations - my 1955 Lufkin catalog shows the #1204 (4 ft) and the #1206 (6 ft) but not the #1205
