I bought this piece as a treat for myself. I needed a lamp for my desk anyway. It was clear up on top of the display case at the back. It was covered in dust and had been marked down a couple times. It is much prettier in person, with nice iridescence, even on the inside. I wondered if it had been a bowl that was converted, but does not sit flat so I don't think so. Any thoughts? No makers mark so I don't know who made this one either.
If it had been originally a bowl surely there would have been flat surface somewhere?
Is it Kralik? Someone will be able to tell.
Maybe it was a bowl that had a stand originally.. Looks lovely the way you are using it though!...:-)
