    I got this at a local antique store today for $38. I haven't plugged it and I don't know if it works.Any idea when this was made?Thanks in advance for any help.

      That's in really great shape given it's age!

      I'd be careful plugging it in, though. After 83 years, some of it's components are liable to be bad unless it's been working on in the intervening time.
