I have just come across a vintage Hermès Constance shoulder bag. Black crocodile. I'm trying to find out if it's authentic or now because the inside logo doesn't say hèrmes the lady who gave it to me said is authentic and is maybe 30 years old. It's in fabulous condition for its age. It measures 10x7x2. It has a gold "H" logo on each side of the bag where the strap is attached. You can make the strap on or have it short. Therapy you get into the bag is by the front "H" logo it opens like a door and then the flap opens. There is on the back of the purse it has a pocket. I have been researching this bag for a while and idk what to even say about it. HELP PLEASE!

Hermes DID SIGN their pieces, even metal findings got a mark.
Then what is this bag?
Hmmm. Could that be one from Flloyd's??? I found a croc bag at a thrift and it said "Floyds Collection" and I can't find anything on that one either. And as you probably know, crocodile is on the higher end. I'll see if I can find anything on this one while looking for mine.
Funny that when I googled John F etc... I got louie, coco, Gucci and so on but no Hermes. I know louie vuitton has a great site for their handbags, but didn't look for Hermes. Maybe they do. Maybe this isn't authentic after all???
