Hi everyone.
A colourful vase stem vase.
Hexagonal. 1" diameter and 7 1/2" high.
The inner green lining is uranium. It doesn't glow very brightly but helps to give the vase an added depth of green, a blue to white spiral of opalescent glass which glows orange all on on pink thorny feet.
Thank you.
Thank you Craig and to everyone who helped ID it.
I think unknown between Harrach and Welz with a decided lean towards the latter. Others will know more.
Ahh thank you Ian. Have you seen one before? I was going to put forward Kralik..shows what I know, lol. This had been in an antique emporium I visit occasionally ( usually just to window shop & drool ) it'd been in there for ages but today the stall this was on had a sale & slashed their prices, I couldn't resist it.
Very cool example. Not sure who by, but I really like it. Quite different from the regular ones that pop up.
It looks as if it has some size
Vintagefran,,,I am new in this world of glass, :-D, but start to get a good eyes(no choice).
Like Ian, i will go with Harrach, not sure about Welz,, the feet remind me some from that house.
Who ever made it, just Lovely.
Alan
Lovely, and set off so well with the blue trail.
I like its cylindrical body with a polygon rim. That's cool!
So lovely, so different and really intriguing.....a super find!
Thank you for the loves and nice comments everyone :)
I found this similar vase described as by John Walsh..maybe this isn't bohemian at all?

I believe the one in the link is also Bohemian, and not Walsh.
Lol, you can never believe anything on eBay. thank you Craig :)
Many of the glass attributions I see on ebay are much more "wishful thinking" than actual ID's. :-)
beautiful!!!!
Thank you Sean :) Craig, I should've known better, specially after reading that 'painted' description the other day ;). This one really looked like they knew what they were talking about. I could be conned so easily, lol. I've been reading old posts and see this could be another Welz. I'm always surprised by the variety and amount of glass they produced. I must be drawn to them, it's not the first time I've bought something not knowing who it was by only to find out its Welz...again :)
Zowie, it looks bigger in the photo for some reason, lol. I think I must be leaning it towards the camera.
It's actually quite small, only one inch diameter by 7 3/4" tall.
beware vases bringing or being offered gifts...lol...Fran, don't sell this one, please keep it and enjoy it....PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its gorgeous.................................
Thank you Alan. Seems Ian was right in the beginning with it somewhere between Harrach & Welz, lol.
Hi Anne, thank you :) funny but when I got it I wasnt going to keep it, but I'm changing my mind, specially as it glows!
I'll be it must be the angle it was taken on I did the same to my sister one day she looked like she was all legs as I was lower down when I took the shot.
