There is plenty of info about Lamidi Olonade Fakeye online, there is even a movie about him http://youtu.be/wCIM8bmt1QA He passed away in 2009, his work is highly collectable as he was named a living treasure.

I have not found another piece like it, and I find nothing about the worth of the piece.?
I guess you need to try harder:

This was an amazing artist! Just put his full name in your browser. I saw one there just like this one. You can look on ebay and etsy too.
Yeah I already found that image with the cap broken still I have no idea of a price?
Not sure where else to look
Appraisals are not given here SimplySandy
I am not looking for an appraisal just a general idea wanting to know if it's something I should start collecting or get rid of my home is very modern and I'm not sure it's going to fit in
Who would you suggest I take it to to get an idea
Well as Tube Amp explained to you in the very first comment, this work is highly collectible, meaning either you can collect it or sell it to a collector. If you are looking for a range of values, here are two sold at auction that I found in eleven pages.
