Hi
Everyone.
I found this painting yesterday, while i am shopping at Goodwill, i go the day before the Today sale, for make sure i will not miss anything, well only that one, i don't take any change the price already right, i did't know first this painting was by a French artist(i left my iPhone home,idiot), really good find, nice scene depicted some european Harbor, the color strike me when i saw it, the reflection from the boat in water are something that impressionist can do easy, this one get my vote, good investment.

The canvas with strecther 24 inch by 20 inch

De Bomainq was born Jean Claude Mayodon April 24,1938 Fontainebleau,Seine et Marne France He signed North American work "De Bomaniq" his mothers maiden name. He had studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in Paris from 1957 to 1961 and obtained his PHD in the history of arts from Ecole de Louvre.
His so called Exuberant Impressionist style is the influence of D'Anty and Vlaminck

@Katherinescollections, well i have to admit, i just have this painting little more then 24 hours, everyone as come to my place in this period of time love it, as the different of many of my painting(some are very pricee), sit stack in my office.
But like you, harbor, boat and seascape, I LOVE IT !, I LOVE IT !,, :-)

It's a great buy ALAIN !!! I love his work. Strangely yesterday I bought an oil too ... but Italian rather than French from the same period.
A great painting Alan......it invites with its texture.

I just did a search on this artist. My dad left me with one of his paintings. It's not as nice as some that I've seen. I like yours better. I'll see if u can post a picture of it later.
