Hope this is appropriate to post...

My dad recently passed away and we found this Gibson Electric Guitar in a closet.

Wondering what it is, and if it is worth anything.

A beauty reminds me of a Gibson Les Paul guitar . Do you see serial numbers inside ? What does label say ?

Is it possible to get some better pics of the Head? (where the tuners are) A closeup of the front and back would be good. Also the back of the body and the back of the neck where it attached to the body. The body of this looks like that of a Firebird V, a guitar that has been made for quite a long time, but the head does not look right, at least that I can find. Closeups would help determine if it is an original or not.

Also, better lighting, like outside would be very helpful also.
