Beautiful trunk, you can tell that a lot of hours were invested in this restore it looks amazing. I look forward to seeing the interior when it is completed.

Drill, absolutely love the trunk, it is awesome, the burnings are fabulous, I could feel the work you put into this, it is beautiful. Drill, I made this person an offer and I'm planning to pick this one up tonight. I believe this one is French. But, I'd like your opinion on it. I've not seen a dome top French trunk before.
Hey Scott ,It is a bridal trunk I will try to find you a picture of another one that I've seen in the past,It was originally leather .It has been listed for about four months now. I might have gotten that one if I was closer.I do believe it is American made 1870s or so but could be british.Most french trunks don't have caster bottom corners or lithography, would love to see the back hinges, though.The high dome does have a unique strong back support that you don't see very often, it is worth the money.Much luck

Sarah Bernhart trunk is similar to the one you are looking at.Trunk # 716 or so 2 years ago on CW.
Drill, I believe you are absolutely correct on that on!! I made him an offer of $75 and he took it. I just got back from picking it up. I'll post it shortly. Thanks again!!!
