This is the last of my uncased spatter glass items. It is unusual in that the base glass is white and the spatter is sparse so that the white is quite prominant. As there is no casing the knob must, perforce, be spatter, an effect I like. It sits on a tiny foot and the nicely cut rim of the lid fits inside the nicely cut rim of the bowl. The blues in the photos should really be cobalt.

This is nice.
Great piece!! The spatter on a white ground is unusual, and quite striking, especially using these lighter colors.
I find it interesting that the spatter on this piece has the découpage appearance, and although your piece has a foot, it bears a strong resemblance to this this one that does not.

Not making an attribution, just making some observations I find interesting.
Thanks Ian, I appreciate your comment.
Thanks for your input, Craig. I didn't buy this for the longest time but cracked in the end because I found some aspects of it interesting. I think of it as a 'sleeper'....... waiting for something to turn up!
I've added a photo of the base as that's where the camera captured the best reproduction of the actual colours and the spatter itself.
This one is just so cheerful, Peggy! :) I like seeing the white through the other colors.
Thank you Michelle, it's the white that sets it apart.....
lovely colors!!
Love the crispness of the white...very nice!!!...:-)
Thanks SEAN, it really catches the eye, as it did yours :-)
Inky, you are so right.....the white is vivid :-)
