    If anyone can tell me something about this beautiful compact . To me it looks as if it may have been a powder compact .. The inside has a mirror. And connected to it on link like thing looks as if a brush would have been in with it. PLEASE HELP IDENTIFY THIS . ITS F& B STERLING

      Have you looked att http://www.925_com for amerikan marks. Could it be the initial mark for a Franz Bergman? I don't know what your mark looks like. Go to the site and compare.

      Thank you Elisabethan and the writing is just normal. Its F&B and then just under that is sterling . And thanks for the link. I found it iI believe itz now been 12 years ago.
