Drop Down Secretary Desk

My wife inherited a very old drop down secretary from her aunt. It did belong to her grandmother. I am in the beginning stages of refinishing it and was wondering about the history of it. After looking at thousands of images I have not seen anything exactly like it. I thought it may have been a Larkin Desk, but it seems to have more details than what I have seen. Also, on all the desks I have seen, they have been symmetrical, meaning the mirror is in the center and the raised shelves are on the left and right. On the one I have, the top is higher on the left side and the mirror is on this side and the raised shelf is on the right side of the top shelf. The second shelf down is the desk part with the drop down here and then there are 2 lower shelves. If anyone knows about this desk and could let me know, I would appreciate it.
