My grandmother told me these figurines were Tom and Jerry from an old newspaper comic strip. I have tried googling it but I only get the cat and mouse version. Does anyone know anything about these two crazy guys? Lynn

I must have missed these when you posted them, AsherasAttic, unfortunately I don't have any information for you, but will bump it up the page, maybe someone will see them and remember. The names ring a slight bell for me as characters from around the time of the Depression?

      Maybe referring to these guys?

I'm sorry Katherine! I should have posted this as solved. I showed them to a guy who collects comic strip art and he identified them as Mutt and Jeff. The first newspaper comic strip. The tall one was a gambler and the short one was an escapee from a mental institution! XXOO! Thanks for helping me out tho! Lynn
