This is a diary Found JULY 19th 1944 in SAIPAN JAPAN, at T.A. 260G The following diary translation is forwarded for your information it finalizes an interesting insight on the character of the jab soldier this was acquired at an auction overlooked by many people seven pages of a diary from a Japanese soldier which was translated appears to be by an American soldier found July 19, 1944. The soldier talks of The many attacks the Americans bestowed upon them dates range from June 11 through June 12-13 June 14 15th 16th 17th all the way up until July 7 when the young man knows it is his final day on the island. He talks of the attacks he talks of the fear and at the end he let his family know that he will not make it home . I'm preparing to scan this document into the computer so I can read it a lot clearer. Mike I got it just preserving history and the accomplishments of others.
