This tool is very light-weight., does not have a strong spring, but the it is possible to secure the grip by moving the center shaft to the side and hooking a small protrusion into a hole in the side. "PATENT APPLIED". It is approx. 14"-15" in length.
Was this a patent sample and intended to be made later of more sturdy metal? Or is it something else altogether?
