Thanks for the blessing.... your trunk is around the era of the early 1900's -- probably around 1910-1920 or so and is covered with a tough material called vulcanized fiber. Rough and rugged they last for a long time -- and yours was built strong. Nice trunk... thanks for the post and welcome to Collector's Weekly!
