EEERIE!!! This is a SEPIA photo,( now in position 2)when I put it on it mysteriously "tinted itself" as it must have looked that day as they sat there. ! This is not a joke friends.....I have goose-pimples and my hair is standing on end. Not photo-shopped --or anything applied! It can't happen. Call Ghost Adventures TV show!!!OMG! I have the creeps....Well I note now the edges of the photo have also turned blue. HUH?
I love candid, real photos a lot, showing everyday folks going about their day. This c.1915 here. This is a wonderful vintage
photo of two teens in youthful beauty, both looking into camera while they dry their wet wavy hair. They remind me of "mermaids"! Love the vintage "cover it all up" bathing suits-- with even "shoes" on to swim!
This photo is a particular favorite of mine because I have 2 daughters, 1 year apart. One dark haired and one blond--like these two!(They are Not in their teens--now mothers)

All untouched as I received them--and stories I made up about these odd add on's are just from my active imagination...But ya gotta admit--- these ARE "peculiar"to say the least!!

Eerie as you say. The intensity of the girl on the right is chilling almost too.
I SEE IT. MAYBE WATER WITCHES...( I made that up) THE FACT REMAINS SOMETHING(???????)

Creepy cool. The girls in the first photo have the exact same frown as their mother!
Ya know what, these really are creepy, I just went back to see before I wrote more...I don't even know how to explain it...So I'm outta here! hahaha Seriously tho!
THESE ARE SCARY!! I see the resemblance. If that is the mom, ten this family is on mixed ethnicity. I thought she may have been the"maid" but now looking at the boy, I see he looks like a mixture of African-American and white. He is the best looking of the bunch The females do have that same frown which is NOT the way to pose for a photo--and the mouths look mean on the girls. Real mean! That boy has distanced himself from them. Smart lad.
Evil looking, highly distressed folks ( not #2 )--touched by "something wicked" that makes them uncomfortable to look at. Why were these photos # 1,3 &4 kept in the family album? ( I just got some of it from Minnesota folks parting out album.) I think I'll go start writing a horror movie script.

Amusing myself as well. I am happy some good is coming from this post. I am known for "thinking out of the box". It all started with the transforming to COLOR, photo #2--which is impossible , and then--- me looking again at the photos that came with it. I find I am in the middle of something kinda odd about the partial album I bought. But I don't want to trash the images of these people, who are probably normal "peeps" of the times.....yeah sure......
Well lets just see what develops--I'm game. AND Racer4four I am so glad you and you "brave" others see where I am coming from too. .. All ideas welcome!!
Ha ha!!! I just had to come back! And yes, these are what creepy movies and books are made of, for sure. I say go for it.
I was checkin out #4 and the fact that all the trees, except the one she's in front of, are bare! That's a trip.
And from here, the man with the holes...it looks like the one did go thru his head but the others look a bit like ink. But that's this side of the screen.

That old guy is the meanest looking man I have ever seen--even in a horror movie!! and yes (!) what is with those trees! All dead but one! WHY??? and WHY is she standing in the middle on nowhere?? Not a house around or any "life" but the one tree. She stands in utter desolation and has her photo taken there--like after no life left on earth but that dead place,,, WHY would she choose that spot and not her home? She doesn't smile. Nothing makes much sense here.
