This bracelet was made pre Russian revolution around 1893-02 by Vasiliev Vasily Vasilievich of St Petersburg. On the tongue is a females head which is to the left of the 84 the other female mark on the outside of the tongue is the assay Mark for St Peterburg.
This bracelet is lovely, with a soft warm feel of the Silver gilt and brilliantly coloured enamel taking the form of flowers and scrolls, I love the contrasting colours. It must have taken ages to produce this type of work, I'm in awe, for the maker who must have had so much patience. On the back of each panel and clasp it has been signed BB.
The length is 7 3/4 inches width is about a 5/8 inch.
Many thanks for looking.

This is a forum discussing this particular bracelet, it's interesting.
Oops oldandsilly, the date is between 1908-1917, many thanks. Two other questions is the other Mark on the tongue the mark for St Petersburg, while we are on the subject, if you read my link above, do you think the maker is the same person? No pressure, lol.
OAS knows her stuff! :) Beeyotiful bracelet, Peasejean! :)
That is an amazing piece, congrats on a fab acquisition.
Interesting to read the forum comments over on 925-1000.com. Those dudes are a tough audience. I've engaged with them a couple of times to identify pieces and run into a couple of those hypercritical old farts whose initial stance on everything is that it must be a forgery. However they know stuff about Russian pieces that you can't find on-line and you'll get there in the end if you persist.
Was the end conclusion that it was by Boitsov Wasilij Wasiljewitsch?
I have read some of these forum before, they can get nasty, lol, I have to do some research, as you can see OAS may have caught me out. I'll be back, I hope.
OAS thanks for taking the time to research this piece, I really appreciate your help. First of all I'm glad it's the real deal, saying that I think it's a lovely wearably piece regardless of its age, I tend to be a impulsive buyer so if I like it and I have the cash I'll buy it. I'm sure it has a lot of stories to tell, just a shame we shall never get to know its history.
OAS you are always welcome on my forum, you are wealth of information, and I thank you.

Hola mi Amiga. How are you, it's been a long time since I've heard from you. I hope all is well.
nutsabotas, I'm over the moon that you think my presentation is good. To be honest I was never good in school, I was never there. But I certainly made sure my kids went to school. To me education is most important. I learnt the hard way life.
Well I shall take that has a complement. :-))))
Many thanks
