Hi Folks - this Mid Century cocktail or lounge chair has me stumped. Its frame is black enemeld metal, bit quite light. The sest back is secured to the chair by press studs into the material covering the seat back. The design and quality of the seat springing seems quite good. It came to is (one of a pair) with others chairs which are 1960s or early 70s. Other than that, we know nothing about them and have found no markings. Any help identifying them would be great - thanks.
Hi Keinton, liking the chair, it's a very cool shape, has to be 1950's French or Italian I would say, has a similar vibe to a Marco Zanusso chair. Well worth getting recovered!
Hi - thanks for the pointer. I'm really not familiar with Italian designers, so looking at Zanuso and Gio Ponti has been an eye-opener for me today. Certainly looks in the style of Zanuso but can't find any images which match the arm-rest shape. Will keep looking. Thanks again
