Recently ran across a seller on eBay peddling a lot of "Bohemian Art Nouveau Art Glass Czech". All are new, from what I can tell none are signed with a contemporary artists signature. The listings state outright they are modern but still appear to be deliberately misleading as well as some of the forms. Perhaps leading others into temptation. The work isn't bad, just wondering if anyone knows who's producing them? Frankly if I was doing these it would be a proud signature, like the work of some American contemporaries working in the style of Tiffany.

Igor Muller is the artist, I believe (please someone correct me if I am wrong!) His work is found both signed and unsigned. Unfortunately some pieces have been found with fake Loetz signatures on them - not by Muller, of course, but by unscrupulous resellers. Daniel Stepanek's work is similar, but usually signed, I believe.
The third picture is Vaclav Stepanek,I believe.
Thanks guys. Yes, that is my concern. It would be so much easier if signing /marking was required. Jan Zeman is possibly the attribution of the last.
cosaw : I agree that they should be signed. It makes it too easy for fakers to add a "Loetz Austria" or some other maker's name.
ALSO....I don't understand why Ebay allows these vases to be listed under LOETZ.
I'm getting sick of going through long lists of these pieces to find a real Loetz piece.
I too hated going through these LoetzBuddies. What I did was change my saved search from "Loetz" to Loetz -Bohemian. That works for me.

(Lost CW password and haven't been able to comment back.) So very much LoetzBuddies, Alfredo, et all! Can one report this listing violation to eBay? They are neither Loetz or Antique. The same seller is also selling contemporary Hoffman and Perfumes from "original molds".
Labeling laws need to be enacted into policy, and not just peel-off stickers. Help control some of the knock-offs in other areas as well.
