I would never have even seen this but for the help of a wonderful Australian collector who saw it, told me, bought it, and when it weighed in a few grams over a price point, thus doubling the postage, she took it home and repacked it to keep my costs down!!!
This is the first pumpkin rose bowl I've ever seen in spatter. The base glass is clear. There are more colours than usual, unusual colours too and the individual 'splats' of colour are tiny.
There is no clear casing and the flat rim is polished ...... unusual for something which is going to have a frog..... so did it ever have a frog? It's bigger than all the others too. I realise it won't be to everyone's taste but I think of it as the spatter to end all spatters! Many many thanks K :-)

Well it's definitely to my taste Peggy! This reminds me of when I was little, we used to melt drops of all the various colors of our Crayola crayons on used Coke bottles to make candle holders out of them...
Ah, Rick, simpler times......and the batteries didn't run out :-)
