This small, 8.5Cm long nesting chicken is quite attractive. It has nice coloring, and great detail. The chicken is the lid on this item.
There is no manufacturer's mark, but is a remarkable item, nevertheless!
Hello, aghcollect, Trey and nutsabotas6…….I appreciate the love….thanks!
Pretty cool. Took a look around. It looks a lot like the early Indiana Glass Hens. Those have a beaded rim on the dish. The head and tail on yours looks alot like the early ones. It's possible they put this smaller one out, sans beaded rim. Hopefully someone will recognize it and set the record straight. Love it.
Thanks, Deano…..your information on and love of this item is truly appreciated. And yes, with that, maybe someone will come up with an ID…thanks again!

Greetings, Petey….thank you for the love!
This is a hen on nest. I know hazel atlas made this size in the early 1930s.
There is an identical one right now on eBay (I typed in "Amber Nesting Hen"), but unfortunately the seller didn't know the maker, either. Good luck!
Thank you, robin56…your help and love is appreciated!
