Here is one for the Pinback Pros... Real or Fake 1964 Kennedy button?
Pros -
1) He planned on running and at least one other pin was made early.
2) I want it to be real.
3) The text on the curl.
Cons-
1) The text on the curl. I've been told that Nixon was the 1st to have a official Committee to re-elect but did Kennedy have one?
2) The front is near mint (it could happen)
3) Not listed in any book I've seen.
As of 3/2017 Still Unsolved anyone know?
this fella should know ...

I have one of the 4 more years president Kennedy button and I have been doing research on it as of now I have found out nothing about it I know they made very few of Kennedy button,s for 1964 reelect campaign. So it's a true mystery I have been collecting for over 40 years and never had a button I couldn't find till now.
I have been a Kennedy collector since 1968 at age 9. I am one of the leading authorities on Kennedy campaign items and have one of the best Kennedy collections in the country. I am also working on having the best, most comprehensive JFK re-election campaign items collection ever. I can put this 'mystery' to rest. FAKE! This was never issued for use in the re-election campaign. If you look at the pin on the back, it is stainless steel which was not used back then. The pin would be brass and on this one, it is not. Other than that, it is simply a fake. If you're interested in Kennedy campaign items, I have a FB page, COLLECTING KENNEDY. KEEPING THE CANDIDATES AND THE CAMPAIGNS ALIVE. Also, the APIC (American Political Items Collectors is a great organization to join no matter what political items you collect. If you go to my page and have ANY questions about political items, I can find an answer for you. In closing, I wish that button was a real one because it's so nice looking! Instead, it's in my 'Fakes, Fantasies and Misattributions' file.
