    This is a fresh find from a charity shop. I loved it enough to buy it without having a clue to its purpose.
    Its about 6" tall and 11" wide at the widest point. The opening is 6.25".
    Its a heavy thing, I estimate 6-8 pounds.

      Could it be some kind of lampshade/globe? Even if not, I bet it'd look pretty cool with a light bulb in it...?? :-)
