I recently purchased this outer shell for a flask. The demensions are 3' x 4 1/2" x 3/4". It is missing the glass flask. My question is were there standard size glass flasks I could find? Where a good place to find one? Or is finding a flask that will fit like finsing a needle in a hay stack?

Does it open from the bottom to allow a bottle to slide inside? I would think the dimensions of liquor bottles from the era would have had some standard sizing, so you may be able to find one on eBay...
