Yep the beautiful hand made canoe from Canada is hanging from the ceiling over the front door right in the living room. And they said it couldn't be done! I got this Canoe many years ago from a Canadian Canoe Maker in Quebec and coincidently a neighbor of mine happened to be shipping a container full of stuff from a nearby town so I just had the canoe delivered to him and he shipped it to Utah. It hasn't seen water yet and I hope it never does. The handwork is incredible!

Thx. That's exactly what I think. Every old Mountain Man ought to have a canoe in the house, just in case! Of course we live on a Hillside next to a 12,000 ft Mtn Peak where Jeramiah Johnson was filmed. Oh well, I'm an old Boy Scout & still use the Be Prepared Motto ( as an excuse) when I "need" cool things.
