I thought these maybe tourmaline has anyone got any ideas?
They are two colours, pale green and pinky purple and are cut into cabachons that weigh 34.8 ct and 17.3 ct.

Thanks, I was thinking along the same lines.

Do you think it would add to the value if I got it faceted?

      Agree with id!
About having them faceted, their inclusions/structure seems to only allow the cabochon cut. Cab cut make them look like yummy hard candies :-)

Yes they are very beautiful, probably better to leave them as they are. I was just considering the value as the faceted ones seem to demand more money
