Do you have any idea who the artist behind these bronzes may be?
I have already been through the main ones with similar styles but to no avail. So if anyone has an idea I would be interested in finding out more about them. They were purchased from an auction in Europe. The signatures are slightly worn and hard to read. They are a pair that you can put together almost as one piece.
You may try a rubbing of the signature and see if it is easiest to read on the paper!
Interesting design!
Already tried it! I thought it looked like a similar style to Henry Moore, but I have spoken to the foundation and it's not his work. The last few letters of the signature even look like oore.
Didn't Phil post this mark once ????

If Phil has any info that would be fantastic.
He is not a member here anymore :(
I have been through lists of sculptors, hundreds of them and I can't find anything that matches, the name could be right but the style wrong. Really had a good look Into it so if anyone can shed any light on it I would greatly appreciate it.
Have his posts been removed?
Well ... Hopefully someone will remember ...

Was a bit limited on the categories.
Ok ... I know I have seen the mark here before ... trying to dig deep into the brain bank ...
Will be impressed if you can find it.
Reading marks can be a pain. Try opening the photo in a photo editor and then reverse the colors. That will frequently bring out more detail and you can enlarge it within reason without it going to a total blur.
