Another dressing/vanity jar..I guess no one wants them these days.
Going by the look of the spatter alone, I wondered if this is a Welz.
It has a rough pontil which is ground around it with a 'frosted' finish.
The lid is very thin and delicate, unsurprisingly its got chipped, but isn't in a noticeable place :)

Wow! What an amazing jar! I love the dog's head - I have never seen anything like it before. It definitely appears to be Welz to me, based on the decor and shape. And again - wow, that dog is just too cool! :)

Sorry to be late replying. Because I have a similar one with four dimples and I know mine is Welz because I've seen the dimpled shape in the Welz decor 'Oxblood and Green Aventurine'. That said it looks to be the same decor as mine......which doesn't have the dog.
