This was the last crucifix that was left at Salvation from about a week ago. I figure I might as well buy this to keep with the others. I do have a pair of small altar candle sticks that are similar to this piece and they will look great together. This is done in a heavy dull cast metal. I'm not sure but it looks like someone might have painted it gold at some point. There are bits of copper and a grey spelter like base showing through the finish were it's worn.The interior of the base is hollow and you can see the base metal clearly. A nice ornate piece from the turn of the century or a bit later. -Mike-
