hand painted dresser inherited from my aunt

i inherited this dresser from my aunt, who was an antiquer.
She has had this dresser as long as i can remember, so at least from 1958. it is very heavy. as far as i know it never had a mirror.
the painting was always there. I believe it to be hand painted.

If anyone knows anything about it, i would appreciate it. I love it and want to keep it for my children.
