I gave this to my step father back in the mid 1980s. Sadly he passed away and it ended back here with me. The original glass top had been broken so he had a new top made for it. But as it was unsecured my rather large cats kept knocking it off the top. My local hardware store set me up with some clear vinyl sticky pads so now it stays on.
One of the three sides is a door so it can be filled with curios. Plenty more to put in there.

I have this exact table! Bought it from a lady in my city on Kijiji for $25. The glass top was replaced but they used some white adhesive and it looked awful. A leg also fell off. Need to refinish this. I hate the red velvet but not sure what to do. My large Maine Coon cat also jumps off this and it's so wobbly. We have that much in common! I'm going to put my cute vintage Royal Copley etc anthropomorphic animal figurines in here when it's fixed and the cat can't knock it over.
Oh and do you know how old this is or any manufacture info?
