Some photos I took of the original Blue Boy and Pinkie at the Huntington Library near Pasadena. Blue Boy was painted by Thomas Gainsborough around 1770. A couple things people may not know is that the painting is life sized as is Pinkie (different artist). Also it is much brighter than one would think, could be the lighting but when you see it you know you are looking at a masterpiece ie it pops.
It is kept in a new addition to the Huntington Mansion. The last photo is a hallway in the Huntington Mansion. The library is in another building but the area is known as the Huntington Library.
Awesome information was discussing this with someone today.
