I found this chair at the curb during my lunch one day and rang the bell to see if they wanted to get rid of it. They said I could have it for free. I've been looking for a new chair for my bedroom, an upholstered chair for my dining room and a prettier chair for my desk instead of a traditional office chair. Unfortunately it's one chair and would fit all three places because I absolutely love everything about it. My grandfather thought it looked like an antique. I don't care if it is or not. You can't really tell from the picture but the whole back is beautifully tufted with matching fabric covered buttons. There is black braid all the way around the fabric where it meets the wood. Other than a few very light scratches and very slight fading the chair is in perfect shape.

If anyone could tell me what style or period this chair is I'd love to know. Thanks
