Here are some posters advertising the two circuses separately. Just some of the many great circus posters on display this summer at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Who knew Solomon's Court was this psychedelic?

Apparently Ringling Brothers purchased Barnum & Bailey in 1907, but ran the circuses separately until 1919.

Part of my summer 2010 east coast antiques tour.

I was given a ringling bros barnum and bailey combined show poster, I do believe there is really 2 posters. 1 is the leaping tiger, that i have seen on the internet. The other is a white face clown leaning over circus tents. I am having trouble finding anything about that 1. These posters are attached, 1 right side up the other up side down, but there is a proferated line between them, the tiger 1 has a strobridge litho 1918 cinnatti and newyork stamp on it. the clown 1 just has a no# at the bottom of the page. If you know or can help me out with any knowledge, it would be greatly appreciated. TY Sylvia
