I got this at an auction and was wondering if anyone could tell me any specifics on it. It is a bronze colored medal, it has a small presidents seal with united States veteran of Foreign Wars going around the seal. It also says 1969 3rd dept P.A. Hakone Japan. Thanks in advance for the info

That's the standard Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) insignia, and nothing to do with the presidential seal. The lettering is cockeyed, but that sometimes happens when these items are manufactured overseas. The VFW is organized into departments, and "DEPT PA" stands for Department of Pacific Areas. Basically VFW posts for American veterans living overseas in the Pacific. The Dept PA was established in 1966, so my guess is this was for the third department convention in 1969.
