Chair has two cross spindles on back trying to find out what or when was made.It's maple wood don't know much more.
Just got it.. old maple wood the back has two spindles that cross in the middle never seen this type. | ||

Made In Japan should send you a message. If not then you need to keep researching. It might be worth a small fortune.
I have this exact chair! We have been searching everywhere for some information on it but have yet to find anything. Did you have any luck??
@ Monkmoo found the company made all kinds of wood furniture started in early 60's closed in 92.
I have the same chair. Are we the only three with this chair. Mine came from a great aunt's house and obviously was well-built since it has rocked a lot of babies.
BUT, cannot find any info about it.
I have the same chair. I do have a picture of being rocked in it in 1960.
So I know mine is at least 55 years old. I do have a hard time finding rocking chair pads that fit the back since it is smaller. Any suggestions on where to get pads that fit this chair?
