    I have researched this item to try to figure out Its purpose. It looks like it could be a cigarette or pipe ashtray. It's about 4.5 inches in length and .5 inch in height. The second picture shows where a cigarette or pipe might rest. I could be completely off base here. Does anyone know what it is?
