    (123 items)

Pair of lovely what I think are Harrach peacock feather bowls . Stuart in England also made similar which they call Cairngorm .
But I lean towards Harrach with these.
Who do you think made them ????
The green tropfen have blue dots (eyes ) in the center .
Fine clear glass with lovely polished pontil .
    3 1/2 " High X 4 1/2 " diameter ( 9 cm H X 11.5 cm D )
    Mint condition
The only other things I scored from this months Wentworth Park Fair .

We Now have another potential maker The Passau Museum has it's cases labeled Schliersee / Steigerwald

Al put this up some years ago and recently reminded me of it .

The fact the blue center color of the peacock is merging as opposed to having a deep ridge lends me to Stuart. Also the pushed in pentagon center is so characteristic of Stuart and Sons. The other Stourbridge glass makers did this pattern too. I am only guessing as is everyone because so many companies made these Peacock, Cairngorn, Tadpoles on clear. Stevens and Williams etc. Somebody with a Doctorate needs to do extensive research.
