This is my latest Welz hexagonal vase and is in the décor Red Yellow and Green Aventurine. It is a slightly different shape from the two other 'curvy' ones as you can see. All heights are approx. 11 cm./4.25 inches, so very small.
These are probably my very favourite glass items.....and I still have only five and, essentially, only two shapes. I would swap almost anything else for a different one of these!
amazing hex collection!
Thanks, MacArt, you're comment is very cheering!
This family of shapes is amongst my favorite in Welz production. The back two are in Shape 7257 and are shown in 1928 production literature. Their production height is stated at 11cm. Nice grouping!!
Lovely collection I have only 2 piece of this one like the middle one and a lamp similar shape

Oh wow - what an amazing grouping, and such a nice addition! Really, really great glass, sklo!
Ooh Peggy, what a great collection! An unusual colour combo. I love the green and red ones in the last photo. I've seen them before but just had to say how nice they are again :)
welzebub, I find it very interesting that there's actual documentation showing those two being produced in the same year. Just on décor it would be easy to think of one as victorian and the other as Art Deco.
ozmarty, I knew you had the same hexagonal vase.....I've a good memory for what I like! Now I've seen your lamp I'm smitten with that too. Perhaps something else to hope for....:-)
Michelle, you seem nearly as excited as I am about these tiny delights :-)
