I believe this is a photo. The caption on the matte says, "The Flying Yankee, One of Americas Favorite Trains, Boston and Maine Railroad." I am trying to find out who the photographer may be and also the age. The matted photo is 14" X 18" and the total size of the framed picture is 19" X 23."

The other mystery is when I try to investigate the identity of the locomotive, the streamlined Boston Yankee dominates the search results. Were there more than one Boston Yankee? I am no expert on trains or train history in the US. I just acquired this piece and really loved it. Thanks for any information you train expert guys can provide.

I can't get past the little streamliner version either. Looks like a 4-6-4 Hudson locomotive and cars like that were popular in the 1920s. Hudsons were made starting in the late 1920s so maybe 1929-1930. Just a guess I am not sure it is a Hudson.
