First photo left side is USS Raleigh. Light Cruiser CL-7 commissioned in 1924. I believe it survived WWII.
Right side USS Chicago CA-29 which was commissioned in 1931. It was sunk by Japanese torpedo planes in 1943.
Second photo left is USS Arizona BB-39 commissioned in 1916 and is resting at the bottom of Pearl Harbor.
Next to it is the USS Lexington CV-2 commissioned in 1928 and lost at the Battle of the Coral Sea.
3rd photo is USS West Virginia BB-46 commissioned in 1923. Survived Pearl Harbor and WWII.
To the right is the USS Dunlop (destroyer) DD-384 commissioned in 1937. It survived WWII.
Finishing up in phot 4 is the USS Guam a river gunboat commissioned in 1927. Got its name changed and was captured on the 2nd day of WWII. Do not rename a ship.
Last is the USS Narwhal (sub) SS-167 commissioned in 1930. It was scrapped just before the end of WWII, it was a bit old for sub then.
Doubt they thought 4 out of 9 of these ships would be lost when the tin was made.
