i found this the other day in the same place where i had found this last year: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/147436-large-and-beautifully-framed-embroidered
i'm pretty sure that my quiltlet was made by the author, although i still don't know what the NF stands for. Unfortunately, the author/quilter died a few years ago, so i'm unable to ask her. She wrote a few books on quilts and coverlets. this book has photos of many quilts by different artists, including Charles Counts!
is their some way to link to a previous post here?
Hi, I saw your post, I’m good friends with the Laury family. This might be by her not 100% sure but the stitching looks correct. I also have a bird screen print by her that looks very similar. So most likely this is a original Jean Ray Laury! Fabulous find! If you’d interested in selling let me know!
What do you think of this one Andrewrickmano5?
